Myriant to Participate in Chemicals Conferences in September

Quincy, MA – September 11, 2013 – Myriant Corporation today announced that it will be participating in two chemical conferences during the month of September.

Arne P. Duss, Ph.D., Myriant's Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development, will participate in the 4th Biobased Chemicals: Commercialization & Partnering Conference. Dr. Duss will participate during the "Advantageous Feedstock for Biochemical Commercialization" Session with a presentation titled, "Successful Production of Petro-Replacement Chemicals from Renewable Feedstocks" on Tuesday, September 17th, 2013, from 2:05 p.m. — 2:30 p.m. PST. The 4th Biobased Chemicals Conference will take place at the Hotel Kabuki, in San Francisco, California.

Michael Mang, Ph.D., Product Technology and Applications Manager, will speak in the Polyurethanes 2013 Technical Conference. Dr. Mang will present during the "Renewable Content Polyols" Session with a presentation titled, "Renewable Polyurethanes from Bio-Succinic Acid" on Tuesday, September 24th, from 9:05 a.m. — 9:30 p.m. MST. The Polyurethane 2013 Technical Conference will take place at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel, in Phoenix, Arizona.
