Myriant bolsters global capital markets advisory capabilities through recent leadership addition

Seasoned IR veteran Lucia Domville joins growing capital markets practice marking one year anniversary of successful launch of the firm’s executive advisory business

NEW YORKJuly 18, 2024 – Myriant, the Weber Shandwick Collective’s executive advisory business, is expanding its deep bench of global capital markets advisory expertise and announced today that Lucia Domville, a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience in investor relations and financial communications, has joined the team as a Senior Principal.

Myriant has achieved significant market growth since its inception, driven in large part by capital markets related communications advisory along transactions, including IPOs, M&A, Divestitures and Spin-Offs, ongoing financial communications, and special situations.

Chris Deri, President, Corporate Advisory Businesses at the Weber Shandwick Collective said: “The last twelve months has seen significant growth for our Capital Markets practice, a cornerstone of Myriant’s advisory offerings. Our team advised on the second largest IPO of the year, won significant new clients across industries and geographies, deepened our bench of senior advisors and grew the team by 50%, and began providing our clients proprietary investor and capital markets insights through our strategic collaboration with S&P Global Market Intelligence, the market-leading provider of investor analytics and insights.”

Since 2023, Myriant’s experts have advised multinational corporations on deals worth $50 billion, including one of North America’s largest capital markets assignments in the healthcare industry in 2023, as well as multiple projects in the CPG and industrial sector.

Myriant’s collaboration with S&P Global Market Intelligence, a leading provider of information services and solutions to global markets, gives clients access to proprietary capital markets insights to uplevel advisory services across the Weber Shandwick Collective.

“Amidst a complex market environment of persistent inflation, higher cost of capital and heightened geopolitical tension, clients continue to seek counsel on how best to communicate with investors and key stakeholders. Building on last year’s strength, our team remains focused on helping clients navigate the capital markets with value-add communications advisory. Lucia joining the team strengthens our investor relations capabilities, adds LATAM markets expertise, and allows us to pursue new growth opportunities” added Marc Drechsler, head of Myriant’s Capital Markets practice.

Domville’s deep investor relations expertise will further strengthen Myriant’s ability to advise clients on cross-border transactions and global fundraising efforts, particularly at the intersection of Latin and North America.

Domville was the former head of Grayling and Citigate Dewe Rogerson New York where she led the IR and Corporate Affairs practices, providing communications counsel and insights on capital markets projects including IPOs, M&A, institutional and retail investor initiatives, investor messaging, media relations and crisis management. She began her career as a journalist in Mexico as the New York correspondent for El Financiero, a major Mexican business daily, followed by her role as a fixed income analyst at Santander Investment.
